Who uses Logic Pro Daw?

Apple's Logic Pro X is, without a doubt, one of the best DAW software for every step of music production. 

Logic has been used for many years to make a whole lot of the songs we all love. Also continues to be chosen by many different unique music producers from various genres around the world.

 

 

Whether it is for a whole production, for making the beats, mixing, mastering, or any part of the process, many artists are mentioning Logic Pro DAW more and more... 

Among many virtues or features if we compare it with two of the most competent DAWs nowadays:

📖 They are a British duo of EDM music producers, maybe more oriented to deep house and garage house. The duet is formed by Guy and Howard Lawrance, two brothers from Reigate, Surrey located in the southeast of England. Their first studio album, Settle, released on June 3 rd of 2013 through PMR was nominated for the Grammy Awards of 2014 in the category of best electronic / dance album. They released their second studio album on September 25th of 2015, which was also nominated to the Grammy Awards of 2016 in the same category as it was in 2014.

 

 

 

They used the Logic Pro daw for the making of their third album (Control, released on April 2 nd of 2013). By the words of Guy on his first twitch stream, we can hear him say about Logic Pro daw: "... the reason I like it is that you can just press any track and you can start playing any sounds straight away..."

 

 

📷 If you are a viewer of their streams, or have seen any of their youtube videos making music, you can appreciate the duo using Logic Pro for most of their song-making process. With many plugins and their own presets and pre-made projects.

 

 

Calvin Harris

 

 

📖 Adam Richard Wiles, more recognized around the world as Calvin Harris. He was born in Dumfries, Scotland on January 17th of 1984. Calvin is a DJ, music producer, singer, and composer specializing in EDM music of many different styles. That has done many collaborations with artists like The Weeknd, Rihanna, Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Rag'n'Bone Man, and the list goes on...


 

📱 On his Instagram account, we can see him on some stories and posts where he was working on tracks with Apple's Logic Pro X. Also on some youtube videos working on the track released in collaboration with The Weeknd, It's over now. Recording instruments, synths, and mixing for a few seconds.  

 

 

 

 

 

Armin Van Buuren

 

 

📖 Armin Jozef Jacobus Daniël van Buuren, born in Leiden, South Holland. On December 25th of 1976, he is a famous DJ and music producer with many features and collaborations. You can see him on youtube speaking fondly of Apple's Logic Pro, and also he has a Masterclass, where you can see Armin applying all his knowledge on the software in his professional-grade studio.

 

 

He said about the daw: "What I love about Logic Pro X is that you can import channel strips, including MIDI and Bus routing. The way Benno and I work is, everything is hooked up to an old Apple server upstairs from my studio. That houses all of my samples, and it's fast enough that I can work from one server and have two projects open and streaming from it at the same time. Then Benno and I can each open the same project and search for bass lines, import entire channel strips with MIDI or audio information, automation, or whatever, and efficiently combine our ideas".

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift's Producer)

 

📖 Nathan Chapman is a record producer engineer born in the United States,  experienced in the field of country and pop music genres. He is primarily known for working with Taylor Swift, an American singer, composer, producer, philanthropist, and actress. Nathan and Taylor co-produced many songs of her albums, one of them, Speak, which sold one million copies in its first week in the United States. This album was fully produced by Nathan Chapman, and he used the Apple Logic Pro X for many of the song-making processes. 

 

 

 

Ed Sheeran

 

🎸 Edward Christopher Sheeran, best known as Ed Sheeran. He was born in Halifax, England, on February 17th of 1991. He began his relationship with the music singing in a church, where he learned to play guitar as well.

In 2005 he started his artistic career, recording and EP debut, The Orange Room, in independent form. He has had international success since 2011.  

He used the Logic Pro X to record two of his greatest hits "Shape of you" and "Perfect".

 

 

David Guetta

 

Pierre David Guetta was born in Paris, on November 7th of 1967. He is a french disk jockey of EDM and a discographic producer. He worked with singers of the size of Chris Willis, Fergie, LMFAO, Rihanna, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, among others. 

He used the Logic Pro daw for making the hit Flames with Sia, and Dangerous with Sam Martín.

 

 

 

Nicky Romero

 

Nick Rotteveel, born on January 6th of 1989, in Amerogen, Utrecht province, in the Netherlands. He is a DJ, producer, former drummer, and remixer of house music, owner of the stamp Protocol Recordings.

He has worked with and received support from DJs like Tiesto, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Avicii, among others.

He posted a photo on his Instagram using Logic Pro for making new music. 

 

 

Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O'Connell

 

 

Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell, best known as Billie Eilish. She is an American singer and composer. She was born on December 18th of 2001. Her rise to fame as an artist happened when she was thirteen years old.

Finneas Baird O'Connell, also known under the mononym Finnea's. He was born in Los Ángeles, California, on July 30th of 1997. He is a musical producer, composer, singer, and actor. He has released several singles and has written songs for other artists, including his sister, the singer Billie Eilish.

 

 

Both are known for using Logic Pro in producing Billie's songs. If you own the newest version of Logic Pro which is 10.5, the demo project features their song, “Ocean Eyes.”

 

 

 

 

📌 It's great to know that the DAW you are fond of is being used to produce and record their projects.
